Snowy February Day

HC has come to stay the day today. We took a drive and checked out the snowy fields and the cows. He wanted to go back out with Farmer Ken and look at the cows down by the barn some more. They didn't stay out too long, as it is pretty cold, but at least he enjoyed the short time outside. They also checked on Jet the Llama and the barn cats.


Warmer weather can't be too far away and then we will spend our days outside when he is here!

HC & Grandma Bake Valentine's Cookies

HC came for the day today. He really wanted to get outside on the tractor, but will have to wait until warmer weather. Farmer Ken moved some snow, since it got almost up up to freezing. Farmer Ken was on an open tractor and had on his coveralls, but HC got to watch from the window.
We baked Valentine's Sugar Cookies. Of course the best part was pulling up a chair and having a fresh one right after we got done baking them! (It didn't even spoil his lunch/what a good eater!)

Much colder weather coming this weekend, but then some moderation.
The sun has been shining today and it is a pretty day. We had light snow yesterday.
