Harvest DONE! Farm wife says YEA!! (Farmer Ken says kind of YEA?)

Harvest is complete and the soybeans and corn are all either at the elevator or in the storage bins. I say YEA!! Farmer Ken lways hates to get done! He always wishes there was another field!
Not time to rest yet though! Have to clean up the equipment, level the corn and soybeans in the bins, put up more electric fence, move the cows, get the garden cleaned up, rake the leaves, put up Christmas lights while it's warm (of course you notice part of this is my list!).
We did have a fun day on Tuesday, when HC came to stay at the farm for the day. He hadn't really had much opportunity to ride in the combine this year. At first he didn't know what to think of the big beast, but after we dumped the load into the auger wagon he really got into it. He sang, made the "vroom" noise and talked about dumping the corn. We had a great time and HC definelty loves to hang around with Grandpa (and grandpa loves to have HC hang around with him!)!



We have AC's and DC's Birthday celebration here Saturday for Brunch,as well as an early Thanksgiving. Will have to get the meuu finalized and get gorceries tomorrow.
